DESCRIPTION:Click for Latest Location Information: http://semtech2011.semanticweb.com/sessionPop.cfm?confid=62&proposalid=3763\nRDFa has gained a significant traction the past few years; sites from BestBuy to the Library of Congress, from Tesco to O'Reilly use it to convey Semantic information on their Web site. Google, Facebook, or Yahoo all use and understand RDFa information, too. W3C has published a first version of RDFa in 2008. Since then a number of new issues in using RDFa has surfaced, new requirements came to the fore; as a result, a new version of RDFa, referred to as RDFa 1.1, is planned to be published in 2011.\nThis presentation aims at a short tutorial on RDFa, including the features added as part of RDFa 1.1. The goal is that the audience would have a good understanding on how RDFa is used in an (X)HTML page, ie, how structured information could be added to traditional Web pages for further processing on the Semantic Web.
